Account Information

When you register with Florida Keys Classifieds or submit information to Florida Keys Classifieds, a temporary copy of that information is routinely made to prevent accidental loss of your information through a computer malfunction or human error.

Florida Keys Classifieds keeps your account information active in our user registration databases in order to provide immediate access to your personalization preferences each time you visit Florida Keys Classifieds.

If you ask Florida Keys Classifieds to delete your Florida Keys Classifieds account, in most cases your account will be deactivated and then deleted from our user registration database in approximately 90 days. This delay is necessary to discourage users from engaging in fraudulent activity.

Please note that any information that we have copied may remain in back-up storage for some period of time after your deletion request. This may be the case even though no information about your account remains in our active user databases.

Servers

The Florida Keys Classifieds computers (called "servers") that send your web pages and advertising banners process and store an enormous amount of information every day. These computer records are called “log files”

Secure Socket Layer (SSL)

Florida Keys Classifieds uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers window during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time Yahoo! asks you for a credit card number on Yahoo! for payment or for verification purposes, it will be SSL encrypted. The information you provide will be stored securely on our servers. Once you choose to store or enter your credit card number on Yahoo!, it will not be displayed back to you in its entirety when you retrieve or edit it in the future. Instead of the entire number, you will only see asterisks and either the first four digits or the last four digits of your number.

Florida Keys Classifieds maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
